Unravel & Bloom Psychological Services is In-Network with Aetna in NY & NJ.

It is out-of-network with all other insurance providers. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits that may provide reimbursement for a portion of psychotherapy services.

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may choose to submit claims to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Dr. Cote will provide you with a monthly superbill, which is an itemized statement of services and payment that you can submit directly to your insurance company. Any reimbursement you receive will be determined by the terms and benefits of your individual insurance plan.

Working as an out-of-network provider allows for greater flexibility in determining the care that best fits your needs while also supporting greater privacy and autonomy in our therapeutic work together.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your medical and mental health care.Under federal law, health care providers are required to provide patients who are uninsured or who choose not to use their insurance with an estimate of the expected charges for scheduled health care services, including psychotherapy.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the total expected cost of non-emergency health care services, including psychotherapy services, before receiving care.You may request a Good Faith Estimate from your health care provider, and from other providers you choose, before scheduling a service.If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill. Please retain a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
